Cambridge stated "William R. Boeykens has more than 47 years of experience as a public accountant. After
growing up on a farm in Canada and Working as a laborer at Ford Motor Company while attending school, he
began his career in 1951 as an accountant under Francis S. Arbor, a chartered accountant in Canada.
After providing public accounting services for clients in Windsor, Ontario, he began working in various
Michigan firms. His work experience includes employment with W.J. Prehomme, a Detroit-based certified,public
accountant firm; within the finance division of the University of Michigan Health System service; and as a managing
partner of Alexander Grant & Co. [now Grant Thornton LLP]. After an early retirement due to health issues, Mr
Boeykens became a consultant with KPMG Peat Marwick before starting his own company, William R. Boeykens,
PC. In 2002, he divested himself of a large portion of the Fort Wayne practice before moving to Michigan to be
close to his family and continuing to work in accounting, tax and estate work. Mr. Boeykens received his master of
science in accounting in 2004 from Chelsea University, England. He continues to obtain accreditation from various
learning institutions to the tune of 40 hours or more annually. He is Accredited with the Institute of Chartered
Accountants of Ontario."
